Qlik Add-On excites users and developers in Germany
The partnership between EVACO and TechLab10, the Swedish developer behind NodeGraph, which was concluded in May 2017, has not only expanded EVACO’s portfolio with an innovative Qlik add-on, but just three months later, EVACO is even more enthusiastic about the great interest in the visual layout and documentation of individual steps in application development.
Not only in regards to new data protection guidelines and the general demand for transparent management of data, NodeGraph delivers a comprehensive and audit-proof overview of data and its sources, which is inevitable for secure and valuable analytical applications. The Qlik add-on provides data lineage, data governance, and automated documentation for all Qlik applications.
NodeGraph provides data lineage all the way from the source to your end-user applications – down to the field level. This allows the user to trace data, analyze it and adjust the business logic if necessary in all scripts easily.
“The efficiency in the management of data structures has convinced us immediately of NodeGraph”, said Gordon Salzmann, EVACO Senior Director Sales, Marketing & Alliances. “The relations between databases, files, Qlik-specific file formats and applications are clearly visible to all users at any time. The easy to understand visualization of the obtained information and the simplicity of its interface are an enormous work simplification for administrators and developers.”
EVACO, the most senior Qlik Partner in Germany, was convinced of the benefits of the Qlik add-on right from the beginning and was therefore the first company in Germany to initiate a partnership with NodeGraph in May 2017. NodeGraph complements the integrated approach of EVACO to deliver a holistic solution based on the Qlik Visual Analytics Platform.
The benefits of NodeGraph are obvious: No other add-on is able to layout the data and its sources within a Qlik environment visually in such an easy way to show for example, missing inbound and outbound connections or files which have not been updated in defined time periods. NodeGraph unifies all collected information in an intuitive interface and creates automated and ongoing a detailed documentation. Users not only save time, issues based on vague assumptions and the elaborate search for possible sources of error in all components can be solved faster than ever.
“NodeGraph is not only useful within complex environments and to comply with special legal requirements, but also simplifies and validates the daily work in Qlik environments of all sizes”, adds Gordon Salzmann.
“With EVACO, we have laid the foundation of a partner community in Germany. Furthermore, we are delighted to be an exhibitor at EVACO’s #datatalk.”, says Oscar Grondahl, Co-founder and Managing Director NodeGraph, adding: “NodeGraph perfectly complements the innovative portfolio of EVACO and we are convinced to deliver a convenient and useful solution together with EVACO.”
